Why it lasts
A bathroom almost never fails at the tile. It fails behind it.
Falls formed before the screed goes down. Membrane taken up the walls, into every corner and over the hobs, and given time to cure. Only then does a tile get picked up.
Because the waterproofing and the tiling are done by the same crew, nothing falls through the gap between two trades — which is where most wet areas go wrong.
